Son of Willis M. and Ruth J. Roberts; born September 27, 1894, Peru, Miami County, Ind. Moved to Clinton County in 1911. Farmer. Entered service August 29, 1918, Frankfort, Ind. Sent to Camp Sherman, Ohio; assigned to 29th Company, 8th Training Battalion, 158th Depot Brigade; transferred to Evacuation Hospital No. 28, Medical Department. Died of pneumonia October 2, 1918, Camp Sherman, Ohio. Buried in Scotland Cemetery, Clinton County, Ind.
