service March 29, 1918, Peru, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky; assigned to
7th Company, 2nd Battalion, 159th Depot Brigade; Transferred to Camp
Gordon, Ga; Embarked for overseas, June 14, 1918; assigned to COmpany
K, 115th Infantry, 29th Division. Killed in action August 31, 1918 in
Argonne Drive. The American Legion Post, Peru, Ind. is named in his
