Son
of Michael and Anna R GINNEY; born July 7, 1895, Clay township, Miami
County, Ind. Went to California early in 1917; employed on ranch when
he enlisted in Company M, 7th Infantry, California National Guard
(Company M, 160th Infantry). Sent to Camp Kearney, Cal. Overseas in
June 1918; assigned to Company F, 58th Infantry, 4th Division. Killed
in action August 6, 1918 near Bazoches. Buried in Cemetery #784, grave
#185, Fismes, Aisne, France. The American Legion Post in Bunker Hill,
