of Lake Erie and Western Railroad. Entered service March 29, 1918,
Peru, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky. Overseas in April 1918. Transferred
to Company B, 112th Infantry, 28th Division. Fought in the Aisne-Marne
Offensive. Kiled in action near Epieds, Aisne, July 25, 1918. Buried
Commune of Verdelot, Seine-et-Marne. First soldier from Miami County to
