Jerome "Rome" Antrobus

Son of Spencer C. and Elizabeth Antrobus; born March 12, 1891, Tipton, Ind. He came with his parents to Clay Township, Miami County as a child and moved to Pulaski County in 1911. Farmer. Working on a farm in Montana, when he enterd service February 15, 1918, Sidney, Mont. Sent to Camp Greene, N.C.; assigned to Company H, 39th Infantry. Went overseas (date unknown); attached to the Fourth Division. Killed in action August 4, 1918. Buried in American Cemetery near Thiacourt, No. 656. Survived by widow, Pearl French Antrobus.
