Born July 1, 1892, Peru, Ind. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army September 26, 1914, Jefferson Barracks, Mo.; assigned to Company H, 13th Infantry. Served two years in the Philippine Islands. Returned to U.S. in 1917. Embarked for overseas June 4, 1918; assigned to Headquarters Detachment, 89th Division. Died of pneumonia March 4, 1919, Trier, Germany. Body returned to U.S. and buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo. Survived by widow, Goldie T. Agar, Kansas City, Mo.
