In honor and memory of Clarence Wilson Clark



Clarence Wilson Clark was born 27 July 1891 to Ransom and Sarah Belle (Bowers) Clark in Liberty Center, Henry County, Ohio.  His father died on 9 September 1917 in Peru, Indiana.

His WWI service was as a Horseshoer at MD 356 Field Hospital, 314th Sanitary Train, 89th Division.

On the 1920 census, he is living in Peru with his mother and two younger sisters.

On 24 April 1920 in Peru, Indiana, he married a widow, Donnie M Wooten Short.
They were the parents of two sons DeRees and Clarence R

He was living in Peru at 481 West 6th Street and working for the C & O Railroad at the time he registered for the World War 2 draft.

Clarence and Donnie May died less than six months apart, he on 31 December 1964 and she on 10 May 1965. They are interred at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru, Indiana.
