Lee Aldredge was born in Sedalla, Nelson County, Missouri on November 16, 1892 to Isaac M and Susan Belle Aldredge. He grew up in Heaths Creek, Pettis County, Missouri. He came to Peru, Miami County, Indiana as a young man, where he worked as a ticket agent for the Chesapeak & Ohio Railway. On his draft registration, he was described as tall with medium build and with brown hair and blue eyes.

At the age of 25, he married Margaret Augusta Winters, 18 on June 14, 1918 in Miami County. Lee served in the World War, but we have no details of his service. They started their family in Peru where they had a son, Robert and daughter, Mary. In 1926, they moved the family to Deer Creek Township. In 1930 Lee was an inspector at the Brass Works. His wife, Margaret passed away in 1939.  By 1940 Lee was working as a monument chisler.

He married again on December 24, 1955 to Virginia Duff. Then Lee passed away on March 20, 1957. He is interred next to Margaret at Galveston Cemetery.
