Aden
Mountain Adkins was born in Converse, Indiana on November 3, 1895 to
William C. and Mary "Katherine" (Medsker) Adkins. The family lived in
Miami County until sometime between 1910 and 1918.
He enlisted in Newcastle, Weston County, Wyoming on September 3, 1918 and was discharged December 20, 1918 from Camp Funston, Kansas. In 1932 he was a resident of the VA hospital at Hot Springs, Fall River County, South Dakota. On December 16, 1933 He married Nettie E. Sieger at Haakon County, Wyoming. Aden died at the VA Hospital at Marion, Grant County, Indiana after a long illness. He was entombed at Sunset Memory Gardens near Kokomo, Indiana. |
